We’ve had a rough couple of weeks, but things are starting to look up for me and my family just in time for Thanksgiving!
This video explains it all…what are you especially thankful for this Thanksgiving?
The story of a guy named Dave and how he deals with his abnormal life!

I’m so sorry. Thinking of your family and sending prayers. Take care.

I understand what you are saying as, “Thank You For Your Service” could be a blanketed statement. However, it is still a form of respect, and still in fact honoring you for your hardships faced, pain of leaving family, enduring things that nightmares are made of, giving up life to keep our Country Free. It shouldn’t matter how you got there because you did provide Service to our Country and I’m sure the man/woman court ordered faced the same anxiety and fear, had to leave family ect that a self enlisted man/woman felt. Every job big or small makes up a team that works together (our military) to protect people such as myself for which I am grateful for. I have asked more in depth questions to see a great look of pain and sadness engulf another, or to have a vet kindly inform me they would rather not look back and relive their prior experiences. So this being said, “Thank you for your Service” should not be taken as a shallow, blanketed statement but be cherished inside as a gesture of respect to yourself, your family and to those lost in serving our military. Imagine if nobody said anything at all… just my opinion. I do like your blog.

Thanks for the insight, Shenandoah! I’ll take it to heart and learn to look deeper in to it whenever I get thanked! Glad you’re liking the blog…I’ve got more posts planned with more of my thoughts so things are settling down for me and I’ll get into a rhythm of posting regularly.
